Tuckahoe is a community of 83 private home sites located within the Town of Duck, NC, and in an area known as OBX - i.e., Outer Banks. OBX spans an area of 125 miles, from Ocracoke and Cape Hatteras in the south to Corolla and Corova in the north. This area includes some of the most beautiful beaches in the U.S., with Duck and Tuckahoe being one of the best. Throughout OBX, there are many excellent restaurants and numerous facilities providing a variety of entertainment options for all.
Tuckahoe is located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound. Many of the properties in Tuckahoe are homes for permanent residents, while others are rental homes for vacationers. The community has excellent facilities for all ages. Tuckahoe has a large community pool with a pool house, a tennis court that is also lined for pickleball, parking lots, and walkways to the beach and sound. The walkway to the sound transits through one of the few remaining nature areas in Duck - home to deer and other NC wildlife. Tuckahoe has a private pier and gazebo providing an excellent location for residents and guests for fishing, crabbing, canoeing, lounging the day away, and viewing some of the most beautiful sunsets over the Currituck Sound. There is almost always a chirping osprey to break the silence.
This website is maintained by the Tuckahoe Homeowners Association, Inc. to provide timely information about our community to current property owners, future property owners, and guests.
